the feeling of restlessness is getting worse I need you now before into tears I burst
deep in my heart and mind you presence still linger I dreamt in the future I'll put a ring around your finger
I can't explain my myself why I can't see you for now still I need your presence somewhere somehow
you have someone else at heart whoever can make you satisfied
then I see myself as a victim of this chase and all my efforts being put to waste
i'm so sorry this has an abrupt end we'll meet again in the future if can

| a childhood friend |
[11 Oct 2010|12:53pm] |
|
I don't have an excellent memory so i can't remember much about the past the people i met and events in my life however i could recall vividly upon reminder and looking back at old photos recollections will flood in my head as though I'm reliving the yesteryear
I met this girl, a mutual friend of a friend with the feeling that we've met before my natural impulse says that we've met before instinct tells me I knew this girl somewhere as I searched deeper into my thoughts, my mind clock ticked anti-clockwise dizzying arrays of images filled up my memory like uploading a 1GB photo album into a hard disk finally it sparked into my conscious she was a kindergarten classmate, a childhood friend then everything came into piece and order the chinese-looking boy in class the dramatic bus accident the different school buildings the end of year performances and so on...
it is amazing how the mind works like a processor I wish to meet people who had came into my life in the past and search for memories at every corner of the brain

i thought past few weeks was a bore not much inspiration, not much entertainment left in the dark, my eyes dilate to see things clearly when the bright light blinded me a glaring beam caused my eyes to squint
life was more like lightroom 3 take a memorable shot and edit it based on moods you like it, you save the artwork in your memory love it and it's safe kept in your heart
how dull past weeks could be, it was unimaginably colourful only in my eyes the light created was over exposed and the colour balance was way off perfection love life fastens my seat belt to a roller coaster ride the peaks and trough induced the surge of adrenaline at times it travels into a long dark tunnel and i realised...

| time |
[07 Oct 2010|11:07pm] |
|
i took a long break from journaling. wasn't there any time? humans create time, so we ourselves can decide our free time 60 mins an hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year whoever discovered these numerical value of time? i might just be too ignorant about time as usual, like what others would remind me
time kills, at both extreme ends of jet speed and turtle slow time is a sharp tool. could be a pain for the mind and heart strike it rapidly and electrical signals jolts inducing shock impale it slow and it felt like the spirit has left the body whoever knows how to manipulate it, probably could be the most powerful person
others might argue time is a medicine and a could show optimism can a broken heart heal over time? and people would say "only time will tell" just to put in a sense of hope
Roman's Venus played with time against Greek's Atlas while carrying the burden of the Earth only she decides if she wants to overturn or break the hour glass

another weekend of hockey a narrow win against the hawks where we should have scored more if only more chances were converted fun playing on the right half and another game i played every single minute my stamina is still good i see must make more use of my speed and try out more mazy runs 1st win, 1st 3 points in hope of more to come
in the end, i think it was a pretty day :)

| world cup 2010 |
[13 Jul 2010|10:34pm] |
|
Goodbye South Africa, Hello Brazil what an awesome world cup full of surprises i'm sure many people love surprises could be a joyous or disappointing one my favourite Oranje fell at the hurdle congrats to the Spaniards on their maiden trophy
After years of attemps, Spain shouts OLE ! Netherlands wasn't third time lucky indeed a blast into the future for Germany Uruguay revived ghosts of world cup's past Argentina tried hard to dribble like Maradona the yellow jersey of Brazil turned pale African support of Ghana turned bleak due to a hand Paraguay aren't really the serious contenders Japan and S.Korea displayed they're aren't Asian whipping boys England haunted by a ghost goal didn't live up to promises a great debut by Slovakia, kicking out the mafias Portugal were silenced by their Iberian neighbours Chile aren't hot and spicy after all the powerful natian USA showed great fighting spirit and determination Mexico were well beaten like a pinata au revoir for France and arrivederci for Italy home crowd just not enough for South Africa Yakubu's stupidity costs Nigeria a knockout spot Greece needs to offer Zeus more offerings foreign-born Algeria might as well give the spot to the pharoahs Slovenia were just just unlucky at the final minute Australia sees double red and goes down under if only Serbia were to unite as a mighty country, it'll be history what if the class of 1992 played for Denmark Cameroon, a utter disappointent for the Africans credits to New Zealand for no loses in the tournament N.Korea should arm themselves with Taepodong next time high expectations for Cote d'Ivoire, sadly they're pitted in the group of death a perfect start for Switzerland followed by a disastrous finish people might ask, "where the hell is Honduras?"
let's wait for 2014...

I've always been a supporter of the Dutch team despite always being an underachiever in major tournaments a final match against the star studded Spaniards none is best to lead the team other than Gio the Indonesian descent captain of the Netherlands the influential man at the left back
I've watched the World Cup since France 98 Dutch stars like Overmars, Bergkamp and Kluivert impressed however they didn't get the ultimate prize the current team has gone a step further and a touching distance away from gold

this year's world cup has been an exciting one despite lacking in goals, the results are shockers it has taught the world important lessons being powerful doesn't mean being unbeatable being strong doens't mean being superior being inferior doesn't mean being weak being new doesn't mean being gullible
even when you're weak once, you can always be strong the next time this lessons has already been passed down through generations through theocratic means inscribed in the holy books and now history is being written again on the field

| adaptations |
[07 Jun 2010|12:39am] |
|
taking leave from work seems to be a contradiction should feel rather relieved though work is piling up or maybe i'm still unsure of work left to be done
i realised i still need to adapt to work the job scope, the appointment and the people i should adapt to them rather than they adapt to me obviously.
humans were engineered to be adaptable to changes for centuries our forefathers resisted hardship survived the catastrophe the world had doomed upon and passed down the lineage inherited to suit the environment charles darwin theorises on natural selection to a certain extent is true and applicable the phrase 'survival of the fittest' is pretty common but you can't force eugenics on the weakest let them adapt and naturally evolve to be an elite
